7L winner over 7f here in June but raised 11lb for that and has struggled to make an impact off this higher mark and others preferred again.
Looked harshly treated ahead of handicap debut last month and was tailed off over 6f. Now up 2f and down 4lb but hard to make a case for.
Wolverhampton 7f winner in April but hasn't really built on that and two recent efforts at this haven't convinced that he stays and he was a bit too keen on both occasions.
Sprang a 50/1 shock at Bath the last time he was seen at this trip and having tried 1m4f last time, this drop back in trip makes him of interest with Kirby booked.
Solid placed efforts off similar marks at shorter trips and if the extra furlong brings about any improvement could again make the frame in a fairly ordinary contest.
Best form has been at this trip and returned to that when second in bunch finish at Brighton last time. Third home has already franked the form and should play a leading role.
Stand out effort when going from the front on third run last October when second over 7f but failed to build on that only run since and absent for 11 months so bit to prove now.
Pair of wins on the AW during the winter but generally struggling of late and more exposed than most of these so passed over tonight.
Still looked in need of experience but off the mark on first run in a handicap under positive tactics at Ffos Las recently. Should have a fair bit more to come and 3lb rise pretty fair.
Little form in trio of maidens but shaped a bit better on handicap debut at Chelmsford over 1m2f and gave impression this drop down in distance could eke out a bit more progress so respected with positive jockey booking.
Duel winner here last autumn. Not quite in same form this term and patently failed to stay 1m2f on latest but more exposed than plenty of these.
Changed yards since last seen. Career best effort was on sole try at 1m here in March so return to it can only be a positive though form since is hit and miss.
Regressive maiden tried at various trips and first time cheek pieces need to have a dramatic effect to figure here.

Basilisk (11/8), French Twist (11/2), Dancing Jo (7/1), Magic Shuffle (8/1), Kodiac Lass (9/1), Gregorian Girl (10/1), Padura Brave (10/1), Rosamour (10/1), Comeonfeeltheforce (14/1), Astral Girl (14/1), Moneta (25/1), Havana Sunset (33/1), The Great Phoenix (33/1), Mystical Jadeite (40/1)
BASILISK looked anything but the finished article when getting off the mark on handicap debut and it will be a surprise if there isn't more to come for his in-form yard. Astral Girl may be a threat on this drop down in distance while Rosamour is also respected with her Brighton second receiving a boost.
- Basilisk
- Astral Girl
- Rosamour
