Son of first-crop sire Karakontie was well backed into favouritism on debut and duly bolted up by 4½L over C&D. Carries a penalty here but was certainly more than 7lb superior to his rivals that day and looks a potential Group horse.
Son of Bated Breath made little impression when eighth of 14 at Carlisle on debut a fortnight ago. Sort to do better here but doubt he makes the frame with opposition pretty solid.
Son of Iffraaj made some improvement from start one to two when finishing a never threatening fifth of eight at Haydock. More to come with time but nurseries will probably suit better.
Rallying third of five at Doncaster over the trip latest saw him beaten just over 1L which earnt a rating of 77. That looks pretty steep but is indicative of his chances here which are boosted by Dontaskmeagain conceding 7lb.
Found just an unbeaten colt of John Gosdens and an 81 rated colt of Richard Hannon's too strong when second at Ascot on debut. Will improve plenty for that most encouraging debut and is a big danger to the top horse.
68-rated filly placed in four most recent starts of her total five. Course experience and consistency both plusses but surprise if she doesn't find a couple too good again.
Not disgraced when fifth of 10 on debut at Kempton earlier this month but will have to take quite a step forward to make the frame in this pretty strong looking contest.

Zegalo (8/11), Dontaskmeagain (7/2), Sir Charles Punch (9/1), Make Me Laugh (10/1), Rakassah (12/1), Bertie's Princess (12/1), Trumpets Call (20/1), La Trinidad (50/1), Hovingham (100/1)
As impressive as Dontaskmeagain was over C&D he could struggle to concede 7lb to ZEGALO whose Ascot conqueror Cherokee Trail readily followed up at Newbury; he is also entered for the Group One Futurity Trophy at Doncaster. The two of them look to tower above their rivals on their respective debut efforts with Sir Charles Punch most probable to finish best of the rest.
