Useful handicap form in the past but below par as of late. Sixth of 14 Chester ten days ago suggests plenty more is needed in this company.
Last win came at Newbury in July but found 10lb higher mark too tough when 5L fourth in 7f Salisbury handicap last time. Off the same mark in this and could be in the grip of the handicapper.
Last win came 11 starts ago and hasn't scored this season. Below par ninth in 6f Carlisle handicap 12 day ago leaves her with plenty to prove now.
Chepstow winner back in July and finished second in three starts since, including at Brighton (7f) earlier this month. Slowly creeping up the weights but respected nonetheless.
Losing run stands at 20 and yet to score on turf. Creditable fourth in Goodwood handicap (1m1f) last month gives him an each-way shout but hard to be confident about.
Shown a revival of form and put up career-best to land 7f Lingfield handicap just over two weeks ago when suited by a strong pace. 8lb rise to contend with but sets the form standard.
Looked to be out of sorts but bounced back last time with second at Yarmouth (7f) last time out. Pulled clear of the rest that day and only 1lb worse off for this contest. Dangerous to ignore.
Hasn't quite hit form this year but showed some promise when fourth in 5f Catterick handicap last time out. Significantly up in trip for this and not sure to stay.
Has multiple victories to his name and put up a slightly better performance when fourth in 7f Chelmsford handicap in late August. Cheekpieces back on and still way below last winning mark.
Course winner in the past. Slow start cost any chance when 10th of 13 in 7f Chester handicap last time out and looks out of form lately. Others preferred.
Had been on a long losing streak but finally shed maiden tag with success at Salisbury (1m) two weeks ago. That was a shock result that day and will need to prove that wasn't a fluke.
Remains a maiden after 22 starts but put up creditable fourth in Beverley handicap (7f) when last seen in July. This looks tough from out of the weights.
Form book has been uninspiring as of late and was down the field in 6f Chepstow handicap on latest start. Very hard to fancy from out of the weights.

SOLDIER'S SON enhanced his reputation at Salisbury despite getting beat but on the evidence on that run - given that he pulled well clear of the remaining rivals - the handicapper is taking a dangerous chance by leaving him on his same mark. Miss Icon boasts a similar profile but her handicap mark currently is slightly off-putting regarding her ability to win, while Garth Rockett falls into that same bracket but seems to come alive at this time of the year.
