Verdict

SIZING GRANITE is a class act over fences and hurdles, so it has been a delight to see him back in peak form over the smaller obstacles at Newton Abbot during the summer. He faces competition for the lead in this small-field contest from the emerging youngster Young Wolf, but is fancied to extend the winning sequence, landing the hat-trick in the process at the expense of the upped-in-grade mare Glanvilles Guest.
