Daughter of Gold Well out of a Shantou mare. Four wins and two seconds from six starts in point-to-points and landed Tipperary bumper in May on rules bow. Excellent prospects on hurdles introduction.
Consistent at her level on the Flat, with two wins and nine placed efforts in 30 runs. In good hands with Gavin Cromwell now turning attention to the jumping.
Daughter of Mahler, won a bumper in July at Wexford at second time of asking and has changed hands since. Worth a close look on hurdles bow.
Big price in a Kilbeggan maiden hurdle last month over 2f (yielding) and was beaten 50L at the line. Has plenty improvement to find on this second visit to the track but should be wiser/fitter now.
Beneficial mare. Dam 2m+ hurdle winner (stayed 3m). Failed to complete both starts in points and back from short break here.
Daughter of Robin Des Champs, won a point-to-point earlier in the year but struggled in two runs under rules, including last month's hurdling introduction at Listowel over 2m4f. Has plenty to work on.
50-1 and tailed off in 2m5½f Galway maiden hurdle this month on rules bow, well held previously in two point-to-points. Best watched at the moment. Tongue-tie added.
Long-standing maiden both on Flat and over timber. Wasn't completely done with having made running and been headed at Down Royal last month when she fell three from home. More needed.
Missed 662 days prior to finishing 10L fifth of 10 in a bumper at Killarney last month. That was also her first run for Willie Mullins. Interesting contender, may improve on previous hurdles form.
Malinas mare, dam modest hurdler/chaser. Finished third in a point-to-point last winter; off since. Market will guide.
Failed to complete in 7-8 points. Fourth in both starts so far in bumpers though running fair race at 66-1 last time at Sligo although never threatening principals.
Well held on a couple of hurdle starts to date beaten over 50L on both occasions. Impossible to make a case for at this stage.
Twice placed in four maiden hurdles, including runner-up effort at Clonmel (2m3½f, good) recently. Has also fallen and been brought down in that sequence. Capable of a forward role again.
Fell on hurdles bow at Cork last month and then finished tailed off at Ballinrobe (2m 2½f, soft; 66-1) on second outing. Much more required.
Modest ex-Jim Bolger maiden has shown little over hurdles in four runs. Last spotted in 2m5f Limerick handicap in April and needs plenty more to be in the shake-up after a break.
Forecasts
Getaway Katie (5/2), Fort Worth Texas (3/1), My Midnight (3/1), Juniper (7/1), Greenpanda (8/1), Love The Melody (12/1), Lady Maureen (33/1), Benfit Of Kash (66/1), Bella's Cave (66/1), Tibbie And Me (66/1), Long Island Jenn (100/1), Elzaa (100/1), Bitofalright (100/1), Canicallheralex (100/1), White Lotus (100/1)
Having proved prolific in winning four out of six point-to-points, FORT WORTH TEXAS also made a winning start in a Tipperary bumper in May and looks the way to go now jumping hurdles for the first time in public. Getaway Katie has had only a single run for Willie Mullins off a long absence and could improve, while hurdles debutantes Love The Melody and Greenpanda can also be of interest. My Midnight has placed twice and failed to get around twice in four starts in this sphere.
- Fort Worth Texas
- Getaway Katie
- Love The Melody
