Won by 8L on debut at Goodwood last October but hasn't looked like building on that in five starts since. Off since disappointing at York in May and has been gelded in the interim and headgear is removed.
Shaped promisingly on his only start last year, he duly built on that after 10 months off to win at Thirsk (7f, soft) and Beverley (7½f, good) the last twice. Handicap debut today and further improvement is likely from this promising colt.
After winning his second start at Kempton (1m, Polytrack) back in December, he returned to finish fifth in a 1m2f Listed event at Newmarket in May. That wasn't his true running and is fascinating runner on his handicap debut.
Impressive on handicap debut over C&D last month, winning easily by 2½L. Wasn't well positioned at Lingfield (1m, Polytrack) last time after missing the break and challenging wide so has to be on the shortlist back at this venue.
Has been a mixed bag this season with a win and a second at Newbury (both 1m) either side of poor effort at Bath on his last three runs. This is a more competitive event and may well find a couple too good.
