Shock 25-1 winner over C&D (good to firm) in July, beating John Caesar by ½L; has somewhat reverted to type since (well beaten both starts) and is difficult to fancy on these terms given that more recent 'form'.
Sole win came at odds of 1/5f for Hugo Palmer in a 1m2f Chelmsford maiden in Nov 2017; stable among the winners of late and she kept onto finish third (beaten 3L) to the progressive Luna Magic over C&D (good to soft) latest.
Eight-race maiden; took a step back in the right direction when third (beaten under 2L) to the Grant Tuer-trained So Macho in a Brighton maiden (7f, good to firm) four weeks ago; is hardly progressive.
39-race maiden who faces a stiff task on these terms (has an official rating of just 44); always in rear when last of eight to Inner Circle in a 7½f C&D classified claimer five weeks ago; look elsewhere.
14-race maiden; beaten favourite on soft ground at Carlisle latest; had previously kept on for pressure when beaten just over 1L by Inner Circle (fifth-placed Fard has won since) in a 7½f C&D classified claimer five weeks ago.
Not the most consistent of fillies (1-20), albeit is effective on both turf and the AW; beaten just under 2L when a keeping on second to Brutalab in a 1m2f Class 6 handicap here (good to firm) last month.
Mick Appleby is still seeking the key to this 3yo Bungle Inthejungle gelding (0-9), and elects to opt for a first-time hood in a very modest contest; placed in a Class 6 handicap at Bath (1m, good to firm) on his penultimate start.
Still seeking his first career success (0-14), but there have been some near misses on the AW at Newcastle (7f); placed in a Leicester seller (1m) when last in competitive action 56 days ago; holds every chance at these weights.
Ex-Irish (Ger Lyons); has made just two starts for Ollie Pears, offering some encouragement for the future (weakened late) behind a couple of stablemates in a Ripon seller (1m2f, good) three weeks ago; could well play a positive role.
13-race maiden; hasn't fired on the AW (0-2) since joining Shaun Harris; faces a tough task on these terms (or any other terms for that matter); look elsewhere with a degree of confidence.

Corked (3/1), Dependable (9/2), Hippeia (5/1), Klipperty Klopp (6/1), Kodi Koh (6/1), Midnight Vixen (13/2), Phenakite (8/1), Henrietta's Dream (12/1), Bob's Girl (16/1), Clipsham Tiger (25/1), Supreme Dream (33/1)
An uninspiring divided classified stakes, which with the greatest of respect to connections features essentially moderate horses. Strictly speaking on handicap ratings, Klipperty Klopp should be positively involved, while Kodi Koh is also perfectly capable on a going day. Corked represents the in-form stable of Alistair Whillans and she'd become of more interest if attracting sustained market support. However, for small-stakes a chance is taken on the Ollie Pears-trained three-year-old PHENAKITE who simply found his stamina overstretched in a 1m2f Ripon seller three weeks ago.
- Phenakite
- Klipperty Klopp
- Corked
