Homebred colt from a prolific and useful family. Not yet built on the promise of his debut sixth at Kempton, where he found 6f too sharp, but the type to thrive in handicaps, and given a very fair mark for his nursery debut.
Twice runner-up in June, and showed progress in her early starts, but she has seen that form flatten out, and was disappointing when 7¾L seventh of 8 to Lady Red Moon in nursery at Newmarket last time.
Beaten off basement marks on her first two nursery outings, albeit running with credit, but has improved to win twice in similar events at Chelmsford, Does need to prove that she acts on turf having been well beaten earlier in the year.
Won on handicap debut at Lingfield in first-time blinkers having previously shown little on his three previous outings. Failed to repeat that effort last time, but probably did too much too soon, and worth another chance with headgear removed.
Best effort came with juice in the ground on handicap debut at Catterick in July. Hasn't gone on from that, however, and cheekpieces reached for after a modest fourth in selling company at Leicester last time.
Showed ability amidst greenness here on racecourse bow, but backward steps since, and while there is a chance he'll improve now handicapping in cheekpieces, he's not a tempting proposition.
Ran respectably when mid-field on debut at Newmarket in May, but had a break after that, and has returned with two poor runs on AW at Chelmsford. Blinkered now, and needs to bounce back to best to feature.

Forecasts
Striding Edge (10/3), Blausee (7/2), Foad (7/2), Luna Wish (4/1), Percy Green (5/1), Positive Light (10/1), Dark Side Division (20/1), Goddess Of Fire (25/1)
STRIDING EDGE has run perfectly respectably in better company the last twice having made a promising debut over 6f, and he is open to plenty of improvement now handicapping, so gets the verdict in a race where most have questions to answer. Luna Wish is a huge danger if proving herself as effective on turf as Polytrack and is seeking a hat-trick, while Foad was too lit up last time, and is worth another chance with blinkers left off.
