A three-time winner on the Flat but has yet to prevail in four attempts over hurdles. Showed some promise earlier in the campaign, however, he then refused to jump the fifth hurdle at Clonmel (2m½f) last time. Can't be discounted.
Won a bumper at Thurles (2m4f) on the third start of his career. Was second of 15 on his hurdles debut at Ballinrobe (2m4f). Has been disappointing on his last two appearances. One for the shortlist here.
Has been well beaten in her three starts over hurdles this year, including latest attempt at Listowel (3m) where he was fifth of 10. Taking a big step back down in distance. Hard to fancy on what we have seen so far.
Made his debut at Naas over 2m back in January in a 19 runner field where he was sixth but was later disqualified after his jockey failed to weigh in. Likely to improve on that opening start. One to think about.
Was successful twice on the Flat last year at Gowran Park. Returns to hurdles for the first time since finishing ninth of 24 at Naas over 2m back in January. Open to improvement so is worth considering here.
Kayf Tara gelding who is a half-brother to a number of winners, including Miss Night Owl who scored over hurdles and fences, while he is also related to Molly Carew who was useful over hurdles. Keep an eye out for any market support.
Was a winner on the Flat on his debut back in April 2018 at Leopardstown. Has gone close on a number of occasions over hurdles, including on his penultimate start where he was second of 20 runners at Gowran Park (2m). Big player.
Has finished a long way down the field on his two starts so far. He was seventh of 12 earlier this month at Kilbeggan (2m), 55L behind the winner after going off at 100/1. Very difficult to make a case for here.
Still a maiden following 21 races. Appeared over fences for the first time on his latest appearance where he was pulled up at Downpatrick (2m3f). Returns to hurdles here where he needs to improve.
Casamento gelding who is a half-brother to a number of winners, including Spirit of France who prevailed on the Flat at trips ranging from 6f up to 1m. Market likely to indicate a lot about his chances on his debut.
Yet to score in eight attempts. She made a mistake at the sixth hurdle last time where she came down at Bellewstown (2m½f). Needs to produce more on what she has delivered on the track so far.
Has only featured twice to date where she has struggled to be competitive at the finish, including when she came home sixth of 19 at Fairyhouse (2m). Should improve with experience now on her side. Not to be discounted,
Has been a long way down the field on his two hurdles starts as she bids for her opening success. Her latest attempt came at Clonmel (2m) where she was eighth of 11. Needs to produce much more to get he first win.
Milan filly whose dam was a winner in a 2m1f hurdles contest, while she also prevailed on the Flat at trips up to 1m4f. Market likely to indicate what her chances are like on her debut appearance here.
Made her first appearance over hurdles last time at Sligo (2m1½f) where she finished fourth of nine after going off at 14/1. Entitled to improve on her latest display. Has to be respected on her second hurdles start.
Forecasts
Future Proof (5/6), Pakens Rock (5/2), Whatwasthatabout (10/1), Mooltazem (12/1), Walking Fame (14/1), Art Of America (25/1), Here In The Dark (33/1), Fighting Fit (33/1), Fair Minded (33/1), Birdie Blitz (40/1), Bridget Cottage (50/1), Tribal Story (50/1), Singirishmansing (66/1), Miss Tulpar (66/1), Galros Jimmy (66/1)
FUTURE PROOF has been beaten by less than a length on both of his two hurdles appearances. This looks a great chance for him to break his maiden over hurdles where he has the standout of the form. Although his last race is a concern where he refused to jump the fifth hurdles, Mooltazem has shown enough so far to indicate he can be in contention here, while Pakens Rock is capable of completing the placings in this maiden hurdle.
