QUARTZ DU RHEU would not have to improve to much from his win at Tramore to land the spoils here under jockey Mark Walsh for trainer Willie Mullins. The French import jumped soundly as he made all on his debut run last month and can get the better of the Charles Byrnes-trained, Turnpike Trip who has run with great credit on both hurdle starts to date. The John Ryan-trained, Waitnsee winner on third hurdle start at Ballinrobe last month appears next best.
