Won a 7½f Ffos Las novice on his second start and improved again when third of 6 to Mohican Heights in a 1m Listed race at Salisbury last time. Has a bit to find on form here, but remains open to improvement, so not ignored.

Plenty of promise when second to Mums Tipple on Ascot debut, and delivered on that promise when winning the valuable Convivial Maiden at York last month. Well worth his place up in class based on that, and afforded maximum respect.

Has won three in a row since his debut, and improved again for the step up to 7f when landing a Newmarket nursery last time. This represents his stiffest task to date by some way, but he's a likeable type and not taken lightly.

Impressive when winning on debut, and far from disgraced when beaten in Group 2 events at Newmarket (July Stakes) and Goodwood. Form of his Vintage Stakes fourth has been franked by wins for the second, third and fifth subsequently. Leading claims.

Well-related colt who overcame inexperience when beating Fiscal Rules in a 7f maiden at the Curragh last month. That form largely untested, but he is open to significant progress.

Forecasts

Molatham (1/1), Wichita (11/4), Visinari (3/1), Berlin Tango (14/1), Tomfre (14/1)

Verdict

It may be last-chance saloon for backers of VISINARI after a couple of expensive defeats, but he remains a smart prospect, and the drop to Listed class ought to enable him to show what he can do. Convivial winner Molatham looks the one to take advantage should he underperform, but the others, particularly the once-raced Wichita cannot be ignored with all open to further improvement.
  1. Visinari
  2. Molatham
  3. Wichita
