Verdict

It often pays to follow an in-form sprinter and HARRY'S BAR promises to be hard to beat having won his last three with a bit in hand. A 6lb rise for his latest C&D success is not insurmountable given the manner of his victory and he is taken to account for Lord Riddiford. The Northern raider always runs well here and is on the sort of handicap mark where it is usually safe to anticipate a big run. Encore d'Or is on an attractive mark but has been below his best and Royal Birth may pose a bigger threat judged on his form in smaller fields.
