Verdict

The Gordon Elliott-yard have landed the spoils in this contest in two of the last three renewals before saddling the third, Rogue Angel in last years' event. The trainer has a possible five runners in the race this time round with improving, RAVENHILL taken to add to his two chase wins earlier in the season. The nine-year-old can bounce back from a setback in the Galway Plate last time out to land the spoils at the expense of stablemate, Barra, who is better than his last run suggests, the coming-to-hand Movewiththetimes and the Henry De Bromhead-trained Poker Party who can be forgiven a second fence hiccup in the Galway Plate last time.
