Landed a fourth career win of his career when winning a Sligo handicap over 2m1½f last month. Needs sizable improvement from a couple of previous chase starts last year.
143 rated handicap hurdler but showed very little in signs of ability in a couple of starts for trainer Paul Nicholls. Running well on defeat in two starts for current connections when last seen in July. Market likely to be the best guide.
10-race maiden over hurdles for trainer Mouse Morris. Never nearer on each career start to date and market likely to reveal expectations on chasing debut.
Produced a hat-trick of wins over hurdles last year. Has shown some promise on his four starts over fences so far this season. Was sixth of 15 last time at Tipperary over 2m1f in July. Looks capable of more over fences. One for shortlist.
Pulled up on sole point-to-point start in January and no impression in three dismal efforts over hurdles. Form doesn't warrant support here.
Improving and shaping well in three starts over the larger obstacles since debut in May. Second of 10 at Killarney last month and very much respected for yard who saddled nine winners at this festival 12 months ago.
Useful 116-rated handicap hurdler. Can possibly be forgiven last of four chase starts at the Galway festival but holds a chance based on his second of nine in a Roscommon handicap chase in July.
Has had three attempts over fences now and has yet to hit the frame. Was much closer last time when fifth of 18 at Galway over 2m2f when going off at 33/1. Others make more appeal.
Tailed off when in rear on first run for 17 months at the Galway festival last month. Obviously had his problems and market likely to be the best guide representing respected connections.
Landed fine handicap hurdle hat-trick this spring but remains on a mark of 102 over timber. Well held in a couple of point-to-point starts earlier in career and unlikely to be providing a shock on first start over fences.
Modest 110-rated handicap hurdler, the Vinnie Roe gelding finished ninth of 15, well beaten on sole start over fences at Tipperary in July. Overall record casts doubt on his ability to get competitive here.
Bumper winner and three from 18 over hurdles. Pulled up following a mistake on chase debut at Tramore last month. Could be worth another chance and a market check as post time approaches.
Modest 111-rated handicap hurdler, headed two out on chasing debut at Kilbeggan last month before weakening to finish sixth of 10 beaten 26L. More needed but improvement would not surprise.
