Havana Gold half-sister to smart stayer Montaly, fancied on debut at Kempton (1m, AW; 13-8f) but was slowly away and ran green, may have needed last month's return over 7f there. Capable of better before long.

Age: 4|  Weight: 9-1| J: Cam Hardie| T: A Brittain| OR:  44
25/1
Exposed maiden, 0-13 now and well fended off on turf at Catterick (7f, good to firm) in maiden when last spotted in July, would be a surprise winner here.

Horse silk
33/1
Filly by Bated Breath, 33-1 chance on debut at Redcar (7f, good) last month; ran well for a long way, should no more this time and might have place claims with improvement.

Big prices both starts but filly showed something to work with last time on Southwell's AW over 5f. Up in trip here and not one to cross off too hastily, market should reveal plenty.

Nicely related filly by Roderic O'Connor, not beaten far in Yarmouth maiden (6f, good to firm) recently and should be in the shake up with improvement likely.

Daughter of Casamento has twice run well here, runner-up on debut in 5f novice and again second in 12-runner handicap over 6f last month. Should hold strong claims on the evidence with 7f trip looking fine.

Disey's Edge23

Daughter of Harbour Watch, hasn't beaten much home in three turf runs in novice/maiden company and will have to improve on AW bow to figure.

Lethal Force half-sister to 6f/7f winner Frank's Legacy and useful winner up to 7½f Yulong Gold Fairy. Market move would be noted on debut.

Maryellen51
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-11| J: Joey Haynes| T: A Bailey
66/1
Mason filly, hasn't looked completely straightforward in two runs at Chelmsford and Newmarket over this trip in maidens and yet to get competitive. Best watched for now.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-11| J: R P Downey| T: T D Barron| OR:  59

Exposed turf maiden, 0-9 so far in that sphere and going backwards this summer. Has shown talent on occasion, will need to find very best stuff on AW bow though.

Supreme Dreamb124
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-11| J: Charlie Bennett| T: S A Harris| OR:  41
100/1
Had shown glimpses of ability for previous trainer but also signs of temperament. Change of stable and first-time visor failed to freshen her up recently at this track. Hard to make a strong case for.

Forecasts

Havana Jane (1/1), Casarubina (3/1), Capla Berry (6/1), Olivia R (7/1), Festina (14/1), Nutopia (25/1), Siena Mia (33/1), Bluetta (40/1), Maryellen (66/1), Disey's Edge (66/1), Supreme Dream (100/1)

Verdict

HAVANA JANE may well have needed the run last time at Kempton and this well thought of filly can get a maiden success at third attempt if building on that now. The red-hot Oisin Murphy stays on board and she makes plenty appeal. Capla Berry wasn't beaten far on debut at Yarmouth and looks a likely improver while Casarubina already has two solid efforts at this course and is again likely to lay down a strong challenge.
  1. Havana Jane
  2. Capla Berry
  3. Casarubina
