The course form of AMALFI DOUG reads 11221 and he built on his two C&D chase runner-up slots to record a first chase win last time by an impressive 30L although the form doesn’t look the strongest on paper. However, he did jump well and he’s well worth siding with again to add to the impressive Perth form figures. Mustmeetalady was raised 7lb for his C&D win last time but that form looks weak and a bigger danger may well loom in the shape of Soupy Soups who has dropped to a handy mark and is better than his recent form figures would suggest. The others look set to struggle although Wings Attract is interesting off a much-reduced mark starting out life for a new stable.
