Easy Irish point-to-point winner on debut she built on a promising chasing debut at Southwell (runner-up) to score at Sedgefield last time (3m2f, good/firm). Finished with a bit in hand; 4lb higher here, should cope with that rise, more to come.

In good heart since returning in June from a seven month break over hurdles/fences, won at Hexham (3m, fences). Displayed a slight quirk when throwing away a race over C&D (hung left) under a penalty; straighter over hurdles last time.

Close second in this race last year but did rather throw the race away (idled run-in), not the first time she's shown quirky tendencies. Not seen since being pulled up on Boxing Day at Huntingdon (laboured effort); something to prove on her return.

Forecasts

Chanceiton (1/1), Stream Lady (6/5), Ballycrystal Court (3/1), Lady London (9/1)

Verdict

The fact that there were fences omitted when Ballycrystal Court won last time out at Market Rasen meant that he didn’t get a true jumping test and the return of the cheekpieces is probably due to the fact that he ran in snatches last time. He’s capable of better but STREAM LADY looks to have a little more to offer. She’s only been pushed up 4lb for that win and she ought to still have something in hand of this field off a mark of 110 with the Pipe team having a good record with their runners they send up to this track. Both Chanceiton and Lady London have thrown races away at this venue before and although both are capable on their day their two rivals are preferred.
  1. Stream Lady
