Trans Wood46
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-12| J: Mr T Power Roche(7)| T: G M Doyle| OR:  109| D
6/1
Richly deserving of a change in fortune having finished second on his last five starts in handicap hurdles, under a variety of tactics. Strike-rate is just 1-22 in this sphere but surely will double up soon.
2
Horse silk
Tintown Robin22
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-10| J: Mr R James(7)| T: V Halley| OR:  107| CD
8/1
C&D winner last month, held since from 5lb higher mark at Tramore but tends to run well around here and certainly not cast aside completely for this.
3
Horse silk
Ourauldmant2
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-7| J: H Morgan(7)| T: H De Bromhead| OR:  104| BF| D
4/1
Clonmel distance winner from 12lb lower mark in May, continues to hold form well and again ran competitive race at Clonmel in midweek. Reliable sort.
4
Horse silk
Chestnut Brave98
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-6| J: M J Bolger| T: J R Barry| OR:  103| CD
20/1
Second of 18 beaten ½L on seasonal debut at Tipperary in May but tailed off when last spotted in June at Tramore and overall form is very patchy. Did win C&D maiden hurdle in 2017.

Ashjanp,t12
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-2| J: J P O'Sullivan(7)| T: Miss E Doyle| OR:  99
16/1
Made the frame over this trip on seasonal bow at Sligo in April but hasn't gone on from that since in three runs and handicapper is only slowly releasing his grip.

Horse silk
Mister Butlerp16
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-0| J: P J Cawley(7)| T: D Hogan| OR:  97| C| D
7/1
Was a 3m winner here in July from 4lb lower rating and finished second at Killarney over fences in sole outing since. Nine-year-old not previously renowned for consistency.
7
Horse silk
Shes Flat Tothematp22
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: Simon Torrens(7)| T: M Winters| OR:  97| BF| D
11/1
Cork maiden hurdle winner (2m) back in 2017, gained first win since whne scoring over fences at Tipperary (2m3½f, yielding; 11/2) in July and not beaten far since at Tramore. Reverts to hurdles in good spirits.

Horse silk
Life On Eartht191
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-10| J: J B Kane(5)| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  98
11/1
Uncompetitive in three maiden hurdles around the turn of the year, didn't run badly at Navan on the Flat when last spotted in June. Makes handicap hurdle bow, only of interest should market speak in his favour.
9
Horse silk
Baliyad33
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-9| J: Katie O'Farrell(5)| T: S Neville| OR:  97
14/1
Fair Flat maiden at up to 1m4f for Dermot Weld. Signs of some ability in four runs so far over timber and not beyond the realms of possibility he'll improve now going in a handicap.
10
Horse silk
Lady Of The Seap8
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-9| J: K C Sexton| T: P Nolan| OR:  92| C
7/1
1-21 strike-rate over timber, scoring here last summer over 3m. Has six placed efforts to her name as well, including over this C&D, and could get involved on a going day.
11
Horse silk
Boro Melodyt15
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-6| J: C D Maxwell| T: V Halley| OR:  89
50/1
Yet to offer much hope in four maiden hurdles, makes handicap debut in this sphere and will need to take a jump forward to get competitive.
12
Horse silk
Wolfofallstreetst33
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-2| J: Liam Quinlan(7)| T: P J Rothwell| OR:  85
5/1
Nine-race maiden who produced a career-best effort on his latest start when finishing third of 19 beaten 6¼L in a Cork handicap hurdle over 2m3f last month. Needs to repeat that run here.
13
Horse silk
Spittal Field11
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-1| J: S J Gray(3)| T: V T O'Brien| OR:  89
50/1
Maiden of little account on the Flat and similar tale so far over timber, with record already reading 0-5. Safest to look elsewhere for now.

Forecasts

Ourauldman (4/1), Wolfofallstreets (5/1), Trans Wood (6/1), Lady Of The Sea (7/1), Mister Butler (7/1), Tintown Robin (8/1), Shes Flat Tothemat (11/1), Life On Earth (11/1), Baliyad (14/1), Ashjan (16/1), Chestnut Brave (20/1), Boro Melody (50/1), Spittal Field (50/1)

Verdict

Mister Butler was a winner over 3m here on penultimate start and has gone well since over fences. He isn't exactly noted for consistency however, so he remains one to be wary of. C&D winner Tintown Robin is respected back here after a competitive showing from his new mark at Tramore, with Ourauldman likely to give another sound showing. Trans Wood would be a worthy winner after a plethora of nearly-moments but SHES FLAT TO THEMAT has been in good form over fences of late and could get a second win in three starts if translating that form to this sphere.
  1. Shes Flat Tothemat
  2. Trans Wood
  3. Tintown Robin
