Only narrowly denied here on debut (7f, good to soft) and scored with plenty in hand over C&D last time out. Has more on his plate here up in class but yard are in fine form at present and they do well with their runners here.

Impressive when winning a maiden at Newbury on second start and while he found Group 2 company too tough at Royal Ascot, he's run okay in a couple of small field events subsequently. Needs improvement for the step up in trip though.

Firm ground winner at Salisbury at 50/1 on debut but failed to back that up in contrasting conditions at Newbury last time out when only beating one home. While that came in Listed company, this is tougher again and others preferred.

Won his maiden at Sandown on soft ground and while he found Group 2 company too tough at Newmarket next time out, it was an improved effort when only beaten 3½L in Listed company at Deauville last time. Yard going well and he holds place claims.

Won a novice event on debut at Newmarket last month but that form hasn't worked out particularly well. Still green in the early stages that day so should improve but may find a couple too good at this level on just his second start.

Showed plenty of promise in a pair of maidens here and got his head in front on third start at Chelmsford in an easier race. Failed to justify favouritism in Listed class at Ascot but put in a much better performance when runner-up at Salisbury.

Respectable effort in what is likely to work out to be a decent maiden at Newmarket on debut and improved to win at Sandown with a bit in hand next time. That form is working out and there's every chance he can make his presence felt up in class.

Winner of a Chester maiden on her second start and followed a respectable fourth in Group 3 company in France with a novice win at Newbury. Only beaten 1L in Listed class back at that venue last time and just about sets the standard on that effort.

Forecasts

Tammani (5/2), He's A Keeper (7/2), Sound Of Cannons (11/2), Subjectivist (13/2), Sesame Birah (7/1), Light Angel (8/1), Pyledriver (14/1), Shared Belief (14/1)

Verdict

Sesame Birah wasn't beaten far on soft ground at Newbury last time when stepped up to Listed company and that's probably just about the best form any of these have to offer. However, with the promise of more to come, TAMMANI is the preferred option after his Sandown win last time out and he's expected to improve for the step up in trip. He's A Keeper won with plenty in hand here last time out and has solid each-way claims for a yard that do well at this venue.
  1. Tammani
  2. Sesame Birah
  3. He's A Keeper
