An 18,000 gns yearling; he's is a half-brother to a 6f-7f winner at Listed level here and in the UAE. His dam was a modest sprinter that was placed over the minimum distance and over 6f as a juvenile. Respected and can only go on from here.
Debut run was a modest attempt and he showed little improvement when tried over C&D last month; was a well beaten fifth of 11 and needs to up his game here. A firmer surface will help but the gelding still has something to find.
Caught the eye in defeat twice already; was green in the early stages on debut but ran on well to edge second inside the distance. Then chased an all-the-way winner home last time; certainly going the right way and has a good chance in this company.
Slowly away and well held on debut over C&D last Tuesday; the filly was outpaced by the front pair inside the final furlong and was never a serious threat. She'll have leaned from the run and looks the preferred option from the stable's two runners.
A nicely-bred filly who is a half-sister to a 6f winner but her dam was a Listed race winner over 1m in France; yard (and the same jockey) won this race with a similar type last year and dangerous to rule out history repeating. One to consider.

Forecasts
Yoshimi (8/11), Handlebars (11/4), Um Elnadim (13/2), Get Boosting (14/1), Ami Li Bert (22/1), King's Charisma (25/1)
YOSHIMI is the form pick and is suggested as the first one to note in the betting. He's done little wrong in two starts so far and has very little find to make it third time lucky. Um Elnadim benefits from the fillies allowance and represents a highly respected yard that won this race with a similar type last year, so also merits serious consideration, while Ami Li Bert, as a half-brother to a first-time out winner who went on to score in the Listed Woodcote Stakes as well as registering a win over a mile at the same level in the UAE earlier this year, also appeals as one to bear in mind. Handlebars is best of the rest.
- Yoshimi
- Um Elnadim
- Ami Li Bert
