Useful enough handicapper (won twice last year, once in cheekpieces); yet to win this year but running respectably. Now looks on a fair mark (ridden by jockey having first public ride last time); should go well returned to 1m (won twice at trip).
Yet to win on AW (0-6); attracted support over C&D last time (spoilt chance with very slow start); never competitive. Cheekpieces that he usually wears are removed again (ran first two starts for this yard without them); below last winning mark.
First run for this yard having had just two runs for Stef Keniry (well held both times); returns now from a fair absence. Fairly useful on his day there's a suspicion he's failed to give his all in his most recent starts; has something to prove.
Enjoys Polytrack (seven of his eight AW wins on the surface); won on his stable debut at Lingfield (1m) back in January. Run well enough since then without winning at up to 1m4f; didn't look himself when last seen (April); doubts on his return.
In good form of late until finding the 1m1f trip too far last time; three-time course winner here. Successful under today's rider in July following up a second C&D win; ought to be involved but does have to prove himself in this grade.
C&D winner in debut he showed a good attitude when winning at Newbury last time (made all); responded well to pressure under today's rider over 1m1f. Had a tough race there but still looks reasonably treated returning to the AW.
Won a minor event here over 7f last year (second start) but hasn't really progressed since then making little impact in handicaps this year. Given a considerate return last time (not knocked around); tongue-tie now added for the first-time.

Kheros (9/4), Fortune And Glory (9/4), Isomer (11/4), Leader Writer (7/1), Profound (8/1), Spencers Son (12/1), Shyron (40/1), Abel Tasman (100/1)
Three-year-olds have won this the last three years with their leading candidate to keep that sequence going looking to be Kheros who showed his battling qualities to hold off more patiently ridden challengers at Newbury last time. If he’s recovered from those exertions then he’s a leading candidate but with the more experienced William Carver replacing a ride having her first ride in public last time ISOMER is preferred in this grade; a 0-80 looking to be just what he wants. Fortune And Glory can’t be left out of calculations given his good C&D form while Leader Writer and Shyron both have claims on their earlier form.
