Aside from failing to complete last time out at Galway, the mare had been running consistently well since scoring at Leopardstown in March; first time cheekpieces applied and certainly one of the leading candidates if bouncing back from last time.
Has been mainly campaigned over fences of late and has not run over hurdles since 2018; has been struggling over fences of late and a return to the smaller obstacles and first-time cheekpieces may revitalise him; interesting contender.
Won well four starts ago at Limerick (2m6f) and has run some fair races in defeat subsequently including last time out at Sligo; entitled to run his race and looks one for the shortlist.
Has been somewhat inconsistent since winning a 2m5½f novice hurdle contest at Balinrobe in July including on chase debut last time out. Chances on the best of his form and certainly not out of this contest.
Slightly below par on reappearance run after long break at Sligo in August before narrowly failing to score at Bellewstown last time out; clearly in good form and may be the one the have to beat.
Did not seem to appreciate the step back in trip last time out at Tramore and is better judged on his two wins at Cork and Limerick earlier in the year; looks a leading player now stepping up in trip; suited by most surfaces.
Excellent effort to score well in a big field handicap at Down Royal last time out and although up in the weights should have a great chance of following up over this slightly longer trip.
Off the mark for connections over hurdles at the 16th time of asking when landing a Clonmel handicap (2m2f) in June off a 7lb lower mark. Some fair efforts in defeat since but not obvious she will appreciate this step up in trip.
Front-runner who put in one of her better performances last time out at Sligo when finishing 3rd of 11 over this trip; probably needs to find a bit more to get competitive but is going the right way.
Forecasts
Top Of The Charts (4/5), Global Racing (8/1), Something Sweet (8/1), Alohamora (9/1), Generator City (10/1), Kilbarry Lilly (10/1), Whereyounow (14/1), Baltygirl (16/1), Trongate (40/1)
ALOHAMORA put a below par reappearance run at Sligo behind her when running one of her better races in defeat last time out at Bellewstown only narrowly failing to collar the winner. A repeat of that effort should see her run well. Another with a great chance is Top Of The Charts who won well last time out and should appreciate this slight step up in trip. Global Racing is a consistent sort and has every chance on the best of his form while Whereyounow will certainly appreciate this 3m trip and is another to consider.
