Has remained in solid and consistent form since winning a Clonmel contest in May on handicap debut on good ground off a 12lb lower mark. Holding form well and merits plenty of respect.

11/2
Won over course and distance in June off a 4lb lower mark; fell next time out then finished down the field in a flat contest last time out; chance on best of form but may need to drop a few pounds to get really competitive.

6/1
Has been generally consistent this term without getting really competitive in any contest; suspicion is she is just not that well handicapped at present and while she has place chances others make more appeal as the winner.

Here For The Craic19
Age: 12|  Weight: 10-13| J: Liam Quinlan(7)| T: D Budds| OR:  96| D
9/2
Veteran who is able to race off just a 4lb higher mark than when winning at Cork in April (2m, yielding); has his own ideas about the game sometimes which needs to be factored into his price but should go well.

Well beaten on all his starts over hurdles including on his handicap debut last time out at Kilbeggan; hard to get excited about in current mood and others preferred.
6

No Way Jackp,t12
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-9| J: J B Kane(5)| T: P Martin| OR:  92
10/3
Career best performance over hurdles last time out Kilbeggan drawing clear of his rivals to take the runner's up spot; had previous bit and pieces of form and any market moves would be interesting given his current mark.

Sheddingp20
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-8| J: A Ring| T: W J Burke| OR:  91
16/1
Off the mark for connections at the ninth attempt in a Limerick maiden hurdle last month before struggling last time out at Tramore off his revised mark; more needed.

Forecasts

Ourauldman (9/4), No Way Jack (10/3), Here For The Craic (9/2), Aunty Audrey (11/2), Touch Of Gold (6/1), Shedding (16/1), Yamato (20/1)

Verdict

An interesting contest and a tentative nod goes to NO WAY JACK who showed his best bit of form last time out at Kilbeggan when he drew clear of all but one challenger in the closing stages. A repeat of that effort should see him go well of his current mark. Here For The Craic won well last time out over hurdles at Cork and has not been too harshly treated for that success. If the veteran is in the mood then he should run well. Ourauldman has been running well in defeat since scoring at this track over 2m4f in May. Drop back in trip might not be ideal but he should run his race.
  1. No Way Jack
  2. Here For The Craic
  3. Ourauldman
