A seven-year-old whose only experience so far came when beaten 46L in a Point-to-Point Flat Race 18 months ago. Dam was well-beaten in two point-to-points and has very little to recommend.

Unraced for Martyn Meade and bought by this yard for 9,000 gns in July. A son of Camelot, he is a half-brother to six winners including Group 1 performers Listen and Sequoyah plus Listed scorer Oyster Catcher. Market vibes worth noting.

Runner-up on both outings during the winter but disappointed when turned over at odds-on at Newcastle (1m2f, Tapeta) last time. Off since February but conditions will suit and sets a clear standard for yard that continues in good form.

Showed plenty of promise on debut in the Wood Ditton at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) back in April to finish fifth, beaten 11½L. Was keen in the race but has been gelded in the five months since we last saw him.

Half-brother to four winners (5f-1m1½f) by Sea The Stars. Sent off at 16/1 when beaten 29L at Windsor (1m2f, good) 17 days ago and whilst yard's runners do improve for an outing, it will need to be significant to get involved.

Beaten 23L on debut at Doncaster (1m2f, good) in March and 19½L recently at Windsor (1m2f, good) after nearly five months off. Needs a big step forward here to get involved,

Plenty of stamina in her pedigree being by Nathaniel out of an unraced mare whose dam won the Doncaster Cup. Tailed off on debut at Doncaster (1m2f, good to soft) 33 days ago and may need more time and a stiffer test.

Forecasts

Battle Of Paradise (4/6), Junooh (15/8), Sea It My Way (14/1), Overbeck (16/1), Star Guide (25/1), Honey Lane (50/1), Byron Green (66/1)

Verdict

Very little in terms of solid form to go on but BATTLE OF PARADISE has shown plenty in two runs to date. Can go well fresh judging by his debut run, his trainer continues in good heart and is the one to beat. Junooh shaped well on debut despite being green and should come on plenty for that experience as well as being gelded whilst Overbeck is making his debut later than most but has a fine pedigree and is best of the rest.
  1. Battle Of Paradise
  2. Junooh
  3. Overbeck
