Last year's Ayr Gold Cup winner sas struggled badly of late in Listed company and then some leading handicaps. Acts on any ground but this could be tough again off these terms.

Without a win since July 2018 but goes on any ground and best suited by this trip. Inconsistent this year and disappointing the last twice. Needs to be back to his best.

Last season's Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes winner faced very tough tasks in the English and Irish 2000 Guineas but was much better back at sprinting when fifth of six in Listed company over this C&D. Soft ground wouldn't have suited and better expected.

Chelmsford novice winner last year hasn't added to that sole success despite proving a reliable performer. Latest fifth in Shergar Cup Sprint is close to his best and that leaves improvement needed at these weights.

11/10
C&D success was one of four wins in a fruitful 2018 campaign. Has faced some very stiff tasks this year and hasn't proved up to beyond Listed company until a good latest run. Drop in trip a plus and well treated off these terms. Likely to go close.

Forecasts

Foxtrot Lady (11/10), Emaraaty Ana (5/2), Jack's Point (13/2), Baron Bolt (8/1), Ice Age (9/1)

Verdict

FOXTROT LADY is a smart filly who has been pitched into some tough races this term, but was a very good close sixth in Group 3 company last time when she just didn't quite see out the 7f. She's the best treated at the weights along with Emaraaty Ana who has was tried in the Classics before facing unsuitable ground last time. Baron Bolt and Ice Age aren't at their best of late so the consistent Jack's Point can chase the main two contenders home.
  1. Foxtrot Lady
  2. Emaraaty Ana
  3. Jack's Point
