Got off the mark at the 25th attempt when scoring by a neck at Perth last time. 4lb rise fair enough, but given overall profile, not certain to follow that up. Will have done his confidence good though, so not totally discounted.

Stream Lady looked all over the winner at Southwell but got worried out of it. She has a chance to gain compensation for that here, but THE CALLER is slightly preferred. Little was expected of him on his hurdles debut for the yard but he ran very well, which bodes well for his chances over the bigger obstacles tonight. Oathkeeper should have more to come but maybe will need this after an absence, and neither of the last time out winners Flying Verse and Spinning Scooter can be discounted from a tricky little event.
