Global Tour³⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: Max Kendrick⁽⁵⁾| T: F O'Brien| OR: 110| BF| D

9/2

Sparkled for this stable since joining them winning four handicap hurdles and progressing nicely until hitting the buffers with a poor performance last time; busy spell catching up with him. Back from a break, dropped 3lb, not ruled out.

Form: 111315

Samson^p³¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-8| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: Dr R D P Newland| OR: 109| BF

5/2

Off the mark straight away for this yard over fences (landed a gamble at Worcester) before failing to run anywhere near that form last time at Newton Abbot. Returns to hurdles off a lesser mark than last time but never won off one this high; respecte

Form: 0425-14

Working Class⁹⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-8| J: Harrison Beswick⁽⁵⁾| T: O Sherwood| OR: 109

8/1

Fair hurdler but needed the intervention of the stewards to land his only "victory" so far when awarded a Fakenham handicap last December. Run respectably since then (better than finishing position last time); returns from a break, may need this.

Form: 33742-4

Do You Know What³⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 102

6/5

Took three starts to hit the winning trail for the yard having been dropped 4lb from her eye-catching handicap debut at Worcester. Up 4f back at the same course she improved last time; open to further progress, off a still lenient mark.

Form: 286-451

Arcadian Sea^t⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: S Bowen| T: Mrs S J Humphrey| OR: 101

12/1

Taken a step forward with each run over hurdles; his handicap debut second at Market Rasen looking strong form. Surprisingly easy to back after 11 weeks off he failed to build on that run at Stratford; better expected now with that run tucked away.

Form: 04-424

Forecasts

Do You Know What (6/5), Samson (5/2), Global Tour (9/2), Working Class (8/1), Arcadian Sea (12/1)

One of the more competitive races on the card although the Dan Skelton trained mare DO YOU KNOW WHAT appears to be still generously handicapped on what she’s shown so far. The form of her Worcester win wouldn’t be that strong but she created a good visual impression and looks open to further progress. Global Tour is hard to fault having won four of his six starts since joining Fergal O’Brien a poor effort when last seen easy to forgive as it came on the back of a busy spell. Samson despite his handicap mark should be respected having upgraded yards with Working Class and Arcadian Sea having something to offer.
