East Coast IPA Fillies' Novice Auction Stakes (Plus 10)

Off time: 13:33 | Winning time: 1m 26.30s

(7)

Space Ace^p³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-6| J: L Morris| T: A Watson| OR: 76| BF| D

5/1

Broke her maiden at Lingfield on her third start over this distance and while she's gone close the last twice in novice company, she's yet to match that level. She still likely to be competitive in this company.

Form: 231732

(6)

Hashtagmetoo⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Tom Marquand| T: J A Osborne| OR: 70

5/2

Gradually improving in his six-race career to date and close when running on seconds the last twice. Kept on gamely both occasions and highly likely to be competitive again in current form.

Form: 445422

(5)

Incognito¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: James Doyle| T: M R Channon| OR: 75

6/4

Five-race maiden on turf racing to a consistent level without necessarily improving. Makes AW debut and second at Newmarket and latest fourth at Salisbury rates as leading form in this company.

Form: 64254

(2)

Decanter

Age: 2| Weight: 8-12| J: David Egan| T: S Kirk

25/1

Daughter of Slade Power cost 11,000 gns as a yearling and first foal of a dam who never raced. Stable has had a couple of juvenile winners this campaign but probably best watched on debut.

Form:

(4)

Gladice⁵¹

Age: 2| Weight: 8-12| J: S W Kelly| T: M Botti

8/1

Promising fifth over C&D on debut and showed slight improvement when third at Wolverhampton over the same trip. Stable in decent form but she would still need to improve on that level.

Form: 53

(1)

Sweet Sixteen³⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 8-12| J: George Wood| T: Miss A Murphy

20/1

Promising third on debut at Lingfield but below that when a moderate fourth at Lingfield last month. Flashed the tail early and while stable are in good form, there are questions to answer.

Form: 34

(3)

Goddess Of Fire¹⁰⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 8-11| J: R Havlin| T: E A L Dunlop

9/1

Daughter of Toronado made a modest introduction at Newmarket when ninth of 19. Showed signs of greenness but kept on late off a slow pace. Extra trip and experience should help but plenty of progress needed.

Form: 9

Forecasts

Incognito (6/4), Hashtagmetoo (5/2), Space Ace (5/1), Gladice (8/1), Goddess Of Fire (9/1), Sweet Sixteen (20/1), Decanter (25/1)

INCOGNITO sets the standard on her Newmarket run three starts back and with her latest effort not being far off that, a reproduction may be good enough in this company. Space Ace is already a winner and her latest two placed efforts should be good enough to see her involved again. Hashtagmetoo has shown a really good attitude in her latest two seconds and a win shouldn't be far away.
