Placed in a claimer over an extended 7f at Beverley (good-to-soft) on his penultimate start. Struggled over the same C&D last time out however and wears a visor for the first time on this occasion.
In good form this season and was winning for the second time in his last three starts when victorious by a neck over 7f at Musselburgh (good) earlier this month. Has run well over this distance in the past.
Decent effort in finishing 1L third in a 7f handicap on the AW at Newcastle last time out. Races off the same mark here and has won off a higher mark in the past.
Returned from a break with a 7L seventh in a 7f handicap at Catterick (good-to-soft) earlier this month. Likely more needed in this contest.
Ten race maiden was beaten 20L when last of nine in a 1m2f handicap at Beverley (good) just under a month ago. Cheekpieces worn for the first time that day are retained down in trip for a yard with a 36% strike-rate (4/11) in recent weeks.
Completed a double when winning a heavy ground C&D handicap just over a fortnight ago. Raised 5lb for that victory and looks likely to run well once more.
Finished runner-up on all three starts since winning over 1m1f at Hamilton (soft) in May. Beaten 1¼L in a 16 runner 1m handicap at Ripon (good-to-soft) last time out and is of interest in this contest.
Placed on all three starts since joining this yard most recently when third over 7f at Catterick (soft) last week. Looks likely to appreciate this step up in distance.
Successful three times on from 24 turf starts including over 7f on good-to-soft ground here in June. Placed twice since but needs to put disappointing latest effort behind him to figure in this event.
Broke his maiden at the 32nd attempt when winning by a neck over an extended 1m at Hamilton (good) last month. Interesting to see how he fares following a 2lb rise in the weights.
Put a below par AW effort behind him when finishing third to My Valentino over an extended 1m at Hamilton (good) last time month. Worth a check in the market racing from out of the weights having won off higher marks in the past.
Out of form so far this year including when beaten 16L by My Valentino over an extended 1m at Hamilton (good) last month. Probably best watched racing from out of the handicap.
Six race maiden has failed to make an impact in three starts since switching to handicaps. Racing from out of the handicap and others hold more obvious claims.
