Victorious in a 2m7f handicap chase on good ground here on his penultimate start but was never involved when pulled up at Southwell (3m, good) last time out. Making his first hurdles appearance since October 2016.
Returning from a break when 21L third in a 2m4f handicap chase at Perth (good-to-soft) just under a month ago. Worth a check in the market back over hurdles off a mark 2lb higher than for his latest success.
Completed a double when winning by 5L in a handicap hurdle over this trip at Market Rasen (good) recently. Raised 6lb for that success and looks likely to play a leading role for a top yard.
Decent effort in finishing 4¾L fifth in a 3m handicap hurdle at Perth (good-to-soft) last month. Well held sixth over 2m4f on soft ground at the same track subsequently however.
Beaten 22L when finishing sixth in a handicap hurdle over an extended 3m2f at Newton Abbot (good) last time out. Worth a check in the market having won off higher marks in the past.
Forecasts
Jen's Boy (5/6), Sebastian Beach (5/1), Tea Time Fred (11/2), Will O'The West (13/2), Wilberdragon (12/1)
JEN'S BOY has been in great form of late and he looks capable of completing a hat-trick by taking this small field staying handicap hurdle. The selection is a progressive individual and he can get the better of Sebastian Beach who is making a return to hurdles while Tea Time Fred, who receives weight from all of his rivals can finish third.
- Jen's Boy
- Sebastian Beach
- Tea Time Fred
