Made a belated start to his career this year as a 5yo; merely hinted at ability so far in a couple of starts (took a strong hold last time). Reverts to AW having been tried on turf last time; needs this run for a mark, faces a stiff task, wide draw.
Fairly useful hurdler (dual winner, also won twice in bumpers); highly tried when last seen, pulled up in the Supreme at Cheltenham. Run twice on the Flat before prior to going hurdling (both starts on AW); vulnerable to 3yo's, drawn wide.
Lightly-raced sort, only started racing this season as a 4yo; offered something to work on from his debut at Salisbury (7f, good/firm). Ran to roughly the same level switched to the AW over the same trip last time; hopes not helped by widest draw.
Ran green on debut (slow away) but did hint at having some ability; duly built on his first start at Windsor (1m, good/firm) last time. Failed to crack the first three, finished a creditable fourth (well positioned); may appreciate first AW try.
Just the one run for Roger Charlton, now starts life with a new yard having shaped with little promise on his Newbury debut over a slightly shorter trip. Raced freely last time (needs to settle better), one of the lesser lights.
Produced a performance that gave little hope for the future on his debut over 1m on the AW (Lingfield). Fared no better after five months off last time over 7f at the same venue, finished well held, hard to recommend supporting now.
One run as a 3yo for Clive Cox resulted in a very green display over 6f at Chepstow where she was always behind. Returned to action for this yard after 11 months off over 7f at Doncaster, went with little fluency; watching brief advised.
Just the one run to her name so far beating a solitary rival home at Chelmsford (7f) earlier in the month. Went with little fluency, finishing well held, hard to think she'll show more this time and best left alone.
Two starts to her name so far with neither separated by a break of 11 weeks offering much in the way of encouragement. Starting at 66-1 and 100-1, she never landed a blow on either occasion, should get a lowly mark after this effort.
The sole newcomer in the field (yard are 0-42 first-time runners in this sphere); half-sister to 1m winner Sandra and useful 7f winner Manton Grange, dam, 2-y-o 7f winner who stayed 1m2f. Would be an unlikely winner on her initial start.
Dubawi filly; bred to be smart, dam 7f-1m2f winner, third in Prix de l'Opera who shaped well on her debut over 1m here. Taken a while to get her career started but showed plenty to work on when third on debut from a poor draw; sure to improve.
Made 6-4 market leader on her debut she failed to live up to those expectations finishing last of eight over 7f at Lingfield on soft ground. Needed the experience, dropped away 2f out (beaten 13L); well-related, must be given another chance.

Khabeerah (1/2), Zahee (7/2), Normal Norman (6/1), Bear Force One (10/1), Doubly Beautiful (25/1), Reigning Ice (25/1), Jane Camille (33/1), Itmakesyouthink (50/1), Adashelby (50/1), Sephira Park (100/1), Can I Kick It (100/1), Ewell Spring (100/1), Noverre Dancer (100/1)
A wide range of abilities on display in this maiden with a fair few of these likely to be heading down the low-grade handicap route once they have a mark. KHABEERAH bumped into a pair of useful sorts on her debut here over 1m with both of her conquerors having win their previous starts, the odds-on winner looking particularly useful. That form sets the standard with none of the other 3yo’s looking particularly progressive although the disappointing debutant Reigning Ice is expected to do better along with Bear Force One. Late to the party Godolphin runner Zahee isn’t well drawn but in a weak field ought to get closer this time around; he looks best of the older contingent.
- Khabeerah
- Zahee
