33/1

One from 11 over hurdles and the Royal Anthem gelding has not been seen since pulling up at Punchestown over 12 months ago. Too early to be writing off just yet.

Form: 74642/P-

Herbiegoesbananas¹⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 11-8| J: Paul Townend| T: W P Mullins| OR: 91| BF

9/4

Ran well on stable debut earlier this month in a Downpatrick handicap hurdle over 2m3f, the Presenting geldings first run for 842 days. Running for leading trainer/jockey combination and one for the shortlist.

Form: 16P00/4

She'stherightone²²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: H Morgan⁽⁷⁾| T: D Cullen| OR: 91

12/1

Six-race maiden over hurdles but has posted a couple of promising efforts at Cork on latest start this month and in May when third of 15 here over 2m½f.

Form: 798-3P3

Le Hachette¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Darragh O'Keeffe⁽⁵⁾| T: J P Ryan| OR: 90| CD

11/4

Off the mark for connections at the 13th time of asking when landing a maiden hurdle over C&D earlier this month off a 10lb lower mark. Life more difficult under a penalty but very much a leading player.

Form: 2134-51

Monsieur Bagot^t⁵⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: J M Moore| T: G P Cromwell| OR: 88

14/1

13-race maiden, failing to spark for trainers, Christian Delcros and Rebecca Menzies. Market check required on stable debut.

Form: 262P-39

Ereforagudtime²⁷⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-3| J: P J Cawley⁽⁷⁾| T: M J O'Connor| OR: 86

50/1

Well down the pack in three maiden hurdle starts, running between 2m and 2m3f when last seen in November. Plenty to prove on return to action.

Form: F/0709-

Shantelle⁴^{(ex 5)}

Age: 10| Weight: 11-3| J: Katie O'Farrell⁽⁵⁾| T: R Donohoe| OR: 81| C

4/1

Landed the second hurdle win of her career at Killarney earlier this month over 2m4f off a 6lb lower mark. C&D winner, no surprise to see a bold follow up bid.

Form: 696531

Spittal Field¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Donagh Meyler| T: V T O'Brien| OR: 91

33/1

Well held when making no impression in three starts on the Flat and has not shown any hints of ability in four innocuous maiden hurdle efforts to date. Handicap debut.

Form: 0U06

Betterask Jj^b1,t²²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: A McCurtin⁽⁵⁾| T: J J Walsh| OR: 84

14/1

Ask gelding who is yet to hit the frame in six starts over hurdles. Well held at Cork over 2m3f on most recent start earlier this month and first time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

Form: 060-0P6

Humps And Bumps⁴⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: A Ring| T: P Croke| OR: 84| BF

14/1

Point-to-point winner who has been running well in defeat over hurdles of late, placed on her last three starts. Beaten favourite at Roscommon when last seen in July and entitled to make the shortlist.

Form: 92-6343

Rebel Cry^p,t⁸¹⁹

Age: 12| Weight: 10-12| J: D F O'Regan| T: N Lee| OR: 81| D

33/1

One from 20 over hurdles and not seen since finishing sixth of 14 beaten 17L behind Billy Flight, here over 3m1f two years ago. Impossible to fancy against these rivals on belated return.

Form: 385766/

Divin Desir¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Sean Flanagan| T: I Madden| OR: 80

16/1

Form of his races in July here and at the Galway festival have produced a number of winners since. Well held on latest start at this venue earlier in the month but no surprise to witness a big run.

Form: 400465

Northern Emperor^p,t⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: A W Short⁽⁵⁾| T: V T O'Brien| OR: 80

20/1

Has been slightly punished for his consistency by hardly moving off his handicap mark of around 80 for the past two years. Still looking no nearer to breakthrough success.

Forecasts

Herbiegoesbananas (9/4), Le Hachette (11/4), Shantelle (4/1), She'stherightone (12/1), Humps And Bumps (14/1), Betterask Jj (14/1), Monsieur Bagot (14/1), Kashika (14/1), Sizing Joshua (14/1), Divin Desir (16/1), Northern Emperor (20/1), Military Poet (20/1), Bridgets Cross (20/1), Spittal Field (33/1), Rebel Cry (33/1), El Vasco (33/1), Swarez (50/1), Ereforagudtime (50/1), Geoffrey's Girl (50/1)

The John Ryan-trained LE HACHETTE got off the mark for connections at the 13th time of asking when landing a maiden hurdle over C&D earlier this month off a 10lb lower mark. The daughter of Yeats had shown good form over this trip previously and can continue her run of form here. C&D winner and successful last time out in a Killarney handicap hurdle on Friday, Shantelle can emerge as the biggest danger. Divin Desir, Humps And Bumps and the Willie Mullins-trained Herbiegoesbananas can battle for the remaining prize money.
