Recently seen on the Flat, well held at the Galway festival over 2m last month. One from nine over hurdles but coming back down to a mark the Teofilo gelding could be dangerous from.

Let The Heirs Walk22
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-5| J: Sean Flanagan| T: B W Duke| OR:  116

Posted a career best in a Cork 2m handicap hurdle earlier this month beaten 1L adrift of Here For The Craic, a race where the second, Give Battle has won since at Sligo. One for the shortlist.

Monbeg Chit Chatp123
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-4| J: H Morgan(7)| T: H De Bromhead| OR:  115
14/1
Maiden hurdle winner in 2017, the gelding has been well held in a series of below-par efforts since May including a heavy defeat at the recent Galway festival. First-time cheekpieces may spark improvement.

Walking In Memphis16
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-13| J: J M Moore| T: G P Cromwell| OR:  110| BF

Winner of a 2m3f maiden hurdle at Downpatrick in June getting off the mark at the sixth time of asking for connections. Beaten since before running well in defeat at the same venue earlier this month on second handicap start. Major player.

12/1
Course winner that has also won over this trip. Two from 25 over hurdles and comes into this race back on his last winning mark. Worth a check in the market.

Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: D G Hogan| T: D Hogan| OR:  109

Still looking to add to his sole hurdle win at Limerick two years ago. Solid runs in defeat has coincided with a rise of 17lb in the weights and may find a couple of more better handicapped sorts lurking.

Bothar Dubh108
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-10| J: Sean O'Keeffe(7)| T: D Queally| OR:  107| BF
4/1
Has failed to complete in a couple of chase contests since March but has solid and consistent form over hurdles including a couple of wins since February. Holds leading claims.

Horse silk
All The Chimneys162
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-7| J: D J Mullins| T: W J Austin| OR:  104
18/1
Was never going on his last start at Navan when something clearly amiss before pulling up when last seen in March. Improving sort until that hiccup and market likely to reveal expectations on return to action.
9
Horse silk
Castlehumeb115
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-6| J: A W Short(5)| T: S J Mahon| OR:  103
16/1
Two from 17 over hurdles but the gelding has been completely out of form in seven starts since May. First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
10
Horse silk
Nibblers Charmt22
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-6| J: D J McInerney| T: R Hackett| OR:  103
5/1
Bounced back to form when landing a Cork handicap hurdle earlier this month off a 7lb lower mark, the Court Cave's first win in six starts over hurdles. Requires plenty of respect.

Forecasts

Bothar Dubh (4/1), Lady In Lavender (9/2), Walking In Memphis (9/2), Nibblers Charm (5/1), Let The Heirs Walk (11/2), Falak (11/1), Antimatter (12/1), Monbeg Chit Chat (14/1), Castlehume (16/1), All The Chimneys (18/1)

Verdict

The form of the race where LET THE HEIRS WALK finished third of 13 earlier this appears to be working out well with the second Give Battle winning since at Sligo. The Brendan Duke-trained gelding can run a big race here, possibly holding off the attentions of Nibblers Charm, recent winner at Cork and the Gordon Elliott-trained, Falak with the step up in trip expected to suit.
  1. Let The Heirs Walk
  2. Nibblers Charm
  3. Falak
