Won Clonmel 2m1f maiden hurdle last term and showed prmise ons econd of four chase starts this season when second at Tramore. Hasn't gone on from there in last two runs and much more is needed.

Yet to reach a place under Rules in six attempts and will need to improve considerably for this first attempt at chasing to have a chance oin this company. Others make far more appeal.

119-rated chaser finished third on penultimate start in Tipperary novice chase and has decent claims on that effort. Yet to win though beyond 2m1f so does have stamina question to answer.

125-rated hurdler finished fair fifth in hot Galway handicap hurdle last time. Yard in good form of late so looks interesting on chasing bow although trip might be bare minimum.

Won Kilbeggan 3m1f maiden hurdle back in 2017 and showed ability in five starts over fences last year. Absent almost nine months prior decent fourth at Kilbeggan in June and makes debut now for new yard. Looks sure to figure.

1/1
Improved 40lb over hurdles when landing four-timer last summer and has shown fair level over fences so far, including third in Grade 3 at Galway earlier this month. Second at Kilbeggan latest, probably found out by soft ground. Big chance.
Yet to score in 20 attempts on Flat and over hurdles although has shown enough over timber to suggest he will win a race. Goes chasing at a tender age and will do very well to make a race of it with older rivals.

Forecasts

Make My Heart Fly (1/1), The Red Menace (9/4), Wonderoftheworld (5/1), St Lawrence Gap (9/1), Knock On Steel (12/1), Alpha Indi (14/1), Here In The Dark (33/1), Rock On Aussie (50/1)

Verdict

Back on a sound surface, MAKE MY HEART FLY can open her account over fences having been found out by unsuitably testing ground last time. She has a touch of class. Wonderoftheworld ran well after a long break when fourth at Kilbeggan in June and may make a proper race of it, along with The Red Menace, who makes his chasing bow and is in-form following a good run last time in a tough handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival. St Lawrence Gap looks best of the rest.
  1. Make My Heart Fly
  2. The Red Menace
  3. Wonderoftheworld
