Won here over 2m3f in June off 8lb lower mark and not disgraced when seventh at Galway earlier in the month. Has won three times over fences at 2m4f but stamina for this longer trip still has to be proved.

Won twice last year at approaching this trip but off much lower marks. Running creitiably off current mark since returning from six-month break and is 13lb better off for seven lengths with Peacocks Secret on their running here in June over 2m3f.

Off the mark at the 15th time of asking when winning over C&D penultimate start and ran with credit last time when third at Killarney. Goes well for this 7lb conditional rider so should again be on the premises.

Hasn't run for over three years but has been running fairly well this summer placing four times off higher marks. Not a bad effort at Galway latest and went close for today's rider at Ballinrobe time before.

Fair claims on third at Sligo in 2m4f h'cap hurdle in April but hasn't been in same form in two starts since and needs to bounce back to get competitive in this event.

Placed twice, including over C&D, prior to game victory over 3m at Sligo last time. Drops back in trip for handicap bow but is in good heart and has every chance if able to stay in touch on this very different track.

Sprang a 20/1 surprise when winning Kilbeggan 2m4f h'cap hurdle last time, finishing well to lead close home. Up 5lb and tried a longer trip but another bold show not ruled out now she has found the winning habit.

Yard in terrific form (4-7 of late) and this mare has done her bit too winning over C&D last time off 4lb lower mark for today's rider. No reason she shouldn't again go well and looks one of the leading contenders.

Regular round here and scored over C&D last term off 5lb higher. Hasn't really been in form this term although hinted she may be on way back when fourth to Bracka Lily last time and is better off at the weights.

Only win in 33 starts came over 3m at Perth last summer. On 16-race losing streak and was wel lheld here last time. 6lb out of the handicap and appears to face a stiff task.

Forecasts

Summer Hill (5/2), Bracka Lily (4/1), Cappacon (5/1), Hello Pilgrim (7/1), Finding Joy (9/1), Peacocks Secret (9/1), Little Haarth (10/1), Napoleon Blue (10/1), Caerleon Kate (14/1), Ashjan (16/1), Maureen's Star (33/1)

Verdict

There shouldn't be much between Peacocks Secret and Cappacon on their recent running here over 2m3f and both are respected, but BRACKA LILY did it well when winning over C&D last time and may be up to defying a 4lb rise with her yard in cracking form of late. Little Haarth could be dangerous, as too might Summer Hill, while Sligo winner Hello PIlgrim and recent shock Kilbeggan scorer Finding Joy are others to consider in a competitive heat..
  1. Bracka Lily
  2. Little Haarth
  3. Hello Pilgrim
