Raced right up to his best with back-to-back mile wins at Carlisle and Pontefract but then never got truly competitive at Catterick on soft ground. Clearly appreciates better ground and put in here off good terms. Won this two years ago.
Has progressed again of late and heads here at the peak of his powers with a Pontefract win and a narrow defeat at Bath. Bit more needed off these terms but very hard to rule out in current form.
Proving consistent of late and not far away in both starts over this C&D for new stable. However given a stiff task at these weights and hard to fancy.
Prefers plenty of juice in the ground so any rain would be most welcome while drying conditions a negative. Last two runs in favourable conditions have been poor and best watched for now.
Out of sorts this season having left Saeed bin Suroor. Races off very good terms based on old form but very hard to make a case for at present.

Rousayan (1/1), Tukhoom (6/4), Be Kool (4/1), Carry On Deryck (10/1), Zodiakos (18/1), Muatadel (28/1)
Tukhoom is improving again and enjoying a good campaign and despite others being better weighted, he's likely to be involved. ROUSAYAN is likewise in fine form and providing there's no rain, he has every chance of adding to his win in this race from two years ago. Be Kool looks the main danger after his latest luckless AW effort can be upgraded.
