Yet to find his ideal trip and has yet to impress on the racecourse including finishing last at Wolverhampton in early August on his most recent start. Entitled to improve but doesn't look like a likely winner on all known form.
Won on handicap debut at Lingfield in first-time blinkers having previously shown little on his three previous outings. Obvious chance now the penny has dropped.
Put in one of his better performances last time out at this track over 7f. Had previously shown some ability on two performances at Leicester. Drop in handicap may help as well as the first-time visor.
Was doing his best work in the closing stages last time out at Lingfield over 6f; has been plagued by slow starts in the past and maybe not one of the most reliable in the field.
Seems to be improving for each run and has two placed efforts to her name despite never looking like the winner in either race. Should improve again but may be chasing the winner home again.
Beaten just 1¾L in a 6f novice event over course and distance last time out. Making his handicap debut but clearly enjoys this track and should give a good account of herself.
Forecasts
Foad (1/1), Elpheba (7/2), Leg It Lenny (5/1), Champagne Supanova (8/1), Red Maharani (16/1), Twittering (16/1)
Now the penny has dropped with FROAD he may prove too strong for these rivals especially given the battling nature of his win at Lingfield. He has to cope with a jump in the handicap but he is open to improvement and none of his rivals look like they are open to too much improvement. Leg It Lenny could be his biggest rival having had experience on this track and is slowly getting the hang of things. This step back in trip and the first-time visor may help his chances. Red Maharani has raced well at this course in the past and should go well again.
- Foad
- Elpheba
- Red Maharani
