Horse silk
9/2
Excellent run at Market Rasen and the third hacked up by 12L next time in better company than this. Looks hard to oppose against a largely moderate bunch.
2
Horse silk
Glendun33
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: J M Quinlan| T: J M P Eustace
7/1
Flat winner who was rated in the 70s but has made little impact over hurdles. Soon in trouble at Market Rasen last month, but this looks far easier and he would be worth considering if market signals are positive.
3
Horse silk
Yorbelucky18
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-7| J: T Scudamore| T: Ian Williams
10/1
Scored at Ffos Las on heavy ground as a youngster but has only shown the occasional glimpse of ability since. Beaten 31L when runner-up at Market Rasen on penultimate start and limitations exposed on handicap debut a couple of weeks later.
4
Horse silk
Scottsdale18
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-1| J: Nick Scholfield| T: P Winks
7/1
Won a couple of bumpers for Brian Ellison but has clearly had issues since. Few signs these are behind him judged on any of his three runs this year.

Dan Gun36
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-11| J: Alain Cawley| T: F O'Brien
3/1
Showed little in Ireland and it has been the same story since arriving on these shores. Tailed off and pulled up last time and hard to be convinced by his credentials.

Turnburyp24
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-6| J: James Davies| T: Mrs N S Evans
11/1
Last success came in June 2016 but he did run some good races in defeat over hurdles in 2018. Fit from the Flat and cannot be dismissed in a race as bad as this.

Mr Sawyert183
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-0| J: C Brace(5)| T: B J Llewellyn
13/2
Triple point-to-point winner between 2014-16 who was placed in a couple of low key races between the flags earlier in the year. Rules form leaves a lot to be desired, but not entirely dismissed under a good claimer in a weak contest.
8
Horse silk
7/1
15-race maiden under both codes who is yet to even make the frame. New trip failed to yield any improvement at Bangor, so in-form rider and cheekpieces are given a go this time.
9
Horse silk
16/1
Flat form reads better than that over hurdles and he is 8lb out of the weights here. Blinkers have failed to inspire in the past so plenty to prove.

Forecasts

Dan Gun (3/1), Arcadian Sea (9/2), Mr Sawyer (13/2), Scottsdale (7/1), Last Chance Paddy (7/1), Glendun (7/1), Yorbelucky (10/1), Turnbury (11/1), Diamond Reflection (16/1)

Verdict

Most of these look capable on a good day but ARCADIAN SEA stands out on his latest effort and the form has been made to look even better since. The booking of Brian Hughes for Last Chance Paddy takes the eye and his Flat form would give him a chance. The latter remark would also apply to Diamond Reflection and Glendun, whilst Turnbury enters calculations on his 2018 form. Yorbelucky has been poor over the last 12 months but would be interesting, given his connections, if coming in for support in a race that will take little winning.
  1. Arcadian Sea
  2. Turnbury
  3. Last Chance Paddy
