Mare rewarded for some consistent efforts when scoring over 1m3f at Windsor early this month and since run a big race in second at Chepstow. Runs from 2lb lower mark now and must have a leading chance.
Both career wins at Pontefract, went close there over 1m4f on seasonal bow in April but hasn't really looked like winning in five starts since. Only 1lb above previous win-mark as a result.
Yet to win in 10 turf runs but twice threatened over 1m6f at Yarmouth earlier in the summer, has run less pleasing race since on the AW at Chelmsford and needs to bounce back from that.
Maiden of 12 starts now, though shaped with promise on run for 212 days at Yarmouth (1m2f) this month and may benefit now upped in distance with that outing behind her.
Dual AW winner, 0-10 on turf, has struggled in four starts this summer on both surfaces and others in this field carry more appeal at the moment.
Daughter of Nathaniel seeking a breakthrough win after eight runs. Haydock second in June (1m3½f, good to soft) would give her sound claims but hasn't reached that level in two turf runs since (second last time on AW at Wolverhampton was promising).
1m4f Beverley winner in May, has more recently been charged with tackling 1m6f and cannot be discounted back down in trip from falling mark.
Iffraaj filly makes her handicap bow off modest mark having had three runs in novice events. Best effort when recovering from slow start to finish fifth at Windsor in June penultimate outing. Worth a market check.
Forecasts
Harmonise (6/4), Konigin (4/1), Say Nothing (6/1), Sempre Presto (13/2), Lincoln Tale (9/1), Princess Harley (12/1), Raven's Raft (14/1), Lady Navarra (25/1)
Harmonise sets the standard and is much-respected dropped 2lb for her Chepstow second having won already this month at Windsor. KONIGIN however shaped with much more purpose on her return to action at Yarmouth over 1m2f and could be ready to open her account now upped in distance with fitness on her side. Say Nothing's June run at Haydock would have her in the mix and she did run a better race on the AW at Wolverhampton recently while Lincoln Tale isn't overlooked completely back down in trip.
- Konigin
- Harmonise
- Say Nothing
