Could never land a blow when sixth at Bath (5f; good to soft) last time. That came after he scored at Leicester (5f; good to soft) in comfortable fashion, and he is back down to that same mark.
Took advantage of a sliding mark when bagging first win for almost two years to score over this C&D last month by a half-length. 4lb higher mark to contend with, but was competitive off higher marks last season so can't be ruled out.
Bounced back from Thirsk (5f; good) disappointment when runner-up at Ffos Las (5f; good to firm) at the start of the month. Only 1lb higher now and only beaten a short-head over this C&D three starts ago also. Shortlist material.
Posted another promising run when second again at Carlisle (6f; heavy) to the upwardly mobile Bedtime Bella. Major claims once again off what is an unchanged mark for yard who do so well with eking out improvement from new recruits.
Followed up encouraging effort at Doncaster (5f; good) with another good run in second at Nottingham (5f; soft) last week. Knocking on the door and this isn't the strongest of contests.
Actually managed to beat a rival for the first time this season when dropped down to this trip for the first time at Bath (5f; good to firm), after trailing in last on both starts prior to that. Plenty more required.
Eight-race maiden who was a disappointing 10th of 12 at Windsor (6f; good to firm) last time. Now drops down to 5f for the first time. Not shown any improvement for the switch to handicaps and is best watched as she runs off this lowly mark.

Pearl Of Qatar (5/2), Valentino Sunrise (5/2), Secret Potion (11/4), Compton Poppy (6/1), Spot Lite (8/1), Jaganory (8/1), Atty's Edge (20/1), Crimson Princess (40/1)
This is a tight-looking sprint handicap. Spot Lite who went down by the cruellest of margins over C&D last month, and posted another consistent effort when second at Ffos Las last time. He just failed to justify favouritism at Nottingham last week, but Valentino Sunrise is on good terms with himself at present and so is in the mix again. This looks a bit easier, but he may have to play second best once again, this time to PEARL OF QATAR. The selection has produced two good efforts in defeat since joining Tristan Davidson and should be able to make it third time lucky after finding only the in-form Bedtime Bella too good a Carlisle last time.
- Pearl Of Qatar
- Valentino Sunrise
- Spot Lite
