Sprung a 40-1 shock when winning a novice median auction stakes at Chepstow (6f; good to firm). Pitched into Group 2 company when unable to get involved in the Richmond Stakes at Glorious Goodwood (6f; good). Now returns to much more calmer waters.

Just done for third on debut at Ffos Las (6f; good to firm). Likely to improve significantly from that as most do from this stable. Drop back in trip unlikely to cause any inconvenience given he is a half-brother to a 5f winner.

Disappointing when pitched into a nursery for the first time at Glorious Goodwood (7f; good) recently. This is a bit less competitive and despite being a four-race maiden he is worth another chance.

Only newcomer in the field. By Zebedee. €4,000 vendor as a yearling. Has a good standard to aim at on debut and so a watching brief is advised.

When Comes Here (11/8), Don't Stop Dancing (2/1), Lexington Rebel (5/2), Indyzeb (20/1)

Verdict

A small but select field, in which three of these all hold some sort of chance. Don't Stop Dancing is the only one in the line-up to have won a race, which came as a surprise when he popped up at 40-1 to deny an odds-on shot at Chepstow. He should find this easier than his most recent assignment. Despite being winless in four starts, When Comes Here is growing increasingly frustrating & one would have hoped for far better when he made his handicap debut in a nursery at Goodwood, though he remains of interest in this small field. The selection is LEXINGTON REBEL who has the most potential out of these and made a promising debut when fourth in a fair maiden at Ffos Las.
