Stepped up markedly in trip recently when eighth in a nine-runner affair at Leopardstown (1m5f; good to firm). Well-beaten on debut behind a few who reoppose when down the field over C&D last month. Has to be opposed.
50,000gns yearling. Gelded ahead of debut. By Alhebayeb. Has to be respected for connections, but unlikely that he will feature too prominently on debut in a race where a couple have a good level of form to their name already.
Four-race maiden who has gone backwards the last twice since posting an encouraging effort on seasonal reappearance. Never looked dangerous when finishing in midfield at Leopardstown (7f; good) last week. Others preferred.
Newcomer who cost £30,000 as a vendor as a two-year-old. Son of Kingsbarns. Gelded ahead of debut which gives off mixed messages. He is a half-brother to three winners though.
Finished behind a fair few of today's rivals when seventh over C&D on debut last month. May get closer to them, but unlikely to reverse the form with the likes of Time Tunnel & Queen Amidala. Watching brief advised.
Produced a fair level of improvement from debut run to finish third at Limerick (1m; good) when dropped back in trip. Should rate as one of the main players off the back of that in a race as weak as this.
Not seen for 91 days since finishing fifth at Cork (7f; good to firm) in May. Now steps up in trip, but improvement is needed on the basis of what he has shown so far.
Morpheus filly. Half-sister to three winners. Breeding gives off mixed messages. Likely to be in need of the experience on debut.
Took a step forward from debut run over C&D when fifth to reverse the form with Time Tunnel at Galway (1m; good) last time out when she finished third. Interesting to see if she can confirm that form.
Underwhelming last time when she could only manage fourth at Galway (1m; good), after a pair of encouraging second placed efforts including when runner-up over this C&D. Worth another chance returned to this venue.

Queen Amidala (11/4), Calonne (7/2), Time Tunnel (4/1), Made My Day (4/1), Segenhoe (9/1), Bodak (12/1), Latent Heat (14/1), Clockers Corner (16/1), Dance Jupiter (16/1), Dromartin (25/1), Be Fair (50/1)
An uncompetitive affair in which many can be ruled out with confidence. After being dropped back in trip to this distance last time, Made My Day posted a much more encouraging effort to finish third at Limerick and there should be plenty more to come from him on just his second start over 1m. The pair to focus on look to be Queen Amidala and Time Tunnel. The former managed to reverse placings with the latter after their encounter over this C&D last time at Galway, but Dermot Weld's filly did not run in accordance with market expectations and is fancied to get the better of the Joseph Murphy runner, just as she did two starts ago.
- Time Tunnel
- Queen Amidala
- Made My Day
