A fairly complex Northern handicap for backers to unravel with three-year-olds (from a limited number) taking two of the last four renewals. They may well improve on that record here with FIREWATER holding sound claims having put three solid starts together. Both Beverley Bullet and Royal Shaheen look well treated and should figure with the latter looking on a handy mark. There doesn’t appear to be a great deal of pace in this which may well hamper the chances of Chinese Spirit and Spirit Of Sarwan both of whom are seen at their best in strongly-run heats. Iconic Code is another live player in a competitive heat that will take some unravelling.
