1
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-10  |  J: D J O'Keeffe |  T: J P Ryan|  OR: 114|  D
5/1

Probably more reliable over fences these days but has some fair hurdle form in the past; struggled off his current mark the last twice over hurdles and may need to drop a bit in the handicap to become competitive again.

2
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-5  |  J: C P McNamara |  T: G P Cromwell|  OR: 109|  D
5/1

Won well three starts ago at Limerick (2m6f) but below par off revised mark on his last two starts; chance on the best of his form but does not look well handicapped at present.

3
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5  |  J: M Hamill |  T: P G Kelly|  OR: 109
25/1

Returns to action after a two year absence. His last appearance was at Roscommon when he broke his maiden over 2m4½f in a 17 runner field in what was his sixth start. One to watch on return following his lengthy lay-off.

7
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-0  |  J: Katie O'Farrell |  T: J J Hanlon|  OR: 104|  D
14/1

Was a winner on his debut in a point-to-point at Tallow (3m) in 2017. Had been improving over hurdles without success before disappointing last time out at Cork in July; may come back refreshed after short break and one for the shortlist.

8
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-13  |  J: D P Maxwell |  T: Andrew McNamara|  OR: 103
11/2

Impressive 16L winner of a 3m1f handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (good) on his penultimate start before finding his revised mark and shorter trip afgainst last time out at Limerick; trip more in his favour but handicap mark might stop him winning.

9
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-10  |  J: R P Treacy |  T: L Young|  OR: 100|  C
12/1

Capable sort who is coming back down to his last winning mark when landing a Thurles 2m4f handicap in November. Holds place claims if events go his way.

10
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-10  |  J: S F O'Keeffe |  T: M M McNiff|  OR: 100|  BF|  C
5/2

Had been showing a return to form before scoring at Ballinrobe on his penultimate start in July. Tougher task at the weights when third here over 2m4f last time out. Chance on the best of his form and is a course winner.

11
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-9  |  J: P J Cawley |  T: Denis Hogan|  OR: 99|  D
8/1

Good winner at Tipperary in July over this trip before below par on her last two outings off her revised mark. Has been eased slightly in the handicap but maybe not enough to see her get back to winning ways.

13
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-4  |  J: C D Timmons |  T: S Fahey|  OR: 94
16/1

Has been slowly improving all season but those efforts came in maiden hurdles and he has much more on his plate here against some experienced rivals.

14
Age: 9|  Weight: 9-12  |  J: A W Short |  T: Matthew J Smith|  OR: 88
8/1

Still looking for her breakthrough success in 11 starts over hurdles. 4th of 14 beaten 4L on latest start at Wexford last month. Not totally out of it but liable to find a couple stronger.

15
Age: 5|  Weight: 9-11  |  J: G Brouder |  T: M J Tynan|  OR: 87
25/1

Five-race maiden hurdler has failed to progress on her debut at Thurles in November. Failed to complete on last two starts. Unlikely winner in current form.

Verdict
With question mark over many in the field, it may pay to side with SWINGBRIDGE who has been struggling off his current handicap mark over fences but looks better treated over the smaller obstacles. Another who has been chasing is Icantsay and while does not look particularly well treated, he has solid hurdle form in the past and is a winner over this distance. Although still a maiden, Eimear has been running some fair races in defeat and is certainly entitled to challenge for some place prize money.
