Horse A-Z
12,000gns yearling son of Archipenko whose three previous winning half siblings were all effective at around this trip. From a top yard which is 2-2 with AW two-year-olds this season so merits maximum respect.

£11,000 yearling son of Epaulette is a half-brother to winners from 5f-1m and over hurdles. Yard's first two-year-old of the season so probably best watched (4-20 last five season combined).

Anjaal colt showed some ability without getting seriously involved on debut in 1m Windsor contest nine days ago eventually finishing seventh of 12. Wouldn't likely have to improve much to make the frame now.

Toronado half-brother to several winners ran green and was always in rear when last of 12 on debut at Windsor (Island Storm seventh) so remains one best watched.

€21,000 yearling son of Authorized out of a half-sister to dual Arc heroine Treve. Five previous half-siblings all winless but certainly one to keep an eye on in the market on debut.

Half-brother to a 1m two-year-old winner and every chance he can emulate that sibling based on his narrow head defeat in an 11-runner 7f Chepstow contest latest. That easily the best form on offer so very much the one to beat.
€10,000 Pour Moi filly beaten 13L when ninth of 12 at Wolverhampton on debut and 22L at Newmarket more recently when last of 13. Makes no appeal at this early stage.
Havana Gold filly beaten almost 20L on debut here over 6f in July. Dam stayed 1m4f so extra 2f will undoubtedly be appreciated but probably best watched nevertheless.

Forecasts

Overpriced Mixer (8/15), Bronze River (5/1), Island Storm (11/2), Opine (10/1), Gweedore (16/1), No Can Do (20/1), Havana Princess (50/1), Early Morning Mist (66/1)

Verdict

After going so close at Chepstow last time out this looks a very good opportunity for OVERPRICED MIXER to open his account for championship chasing Oisin Murphy. Only really the debutants can be considered to oppose him and the pair of Bronze Door for Andrew Balding who is 2-2 with AW juveniles and Opine who has a really attractive middle-distance pedigree look the most likely.
  1. Overpriced Mixer
  2. Bronze River
  3. No Can Do
