2-2 at the track, the latest of those wins coming on his final start, battling on well for a neck victory. Handicapper sensible with a 3lb rise, might get his own way up front here, and has obvious claims of the course three-timer.
In great form this summer, twice a winner at the track (from three starts) and latest effort at Ascot, when going down by a length to an in-form rival, showed she's holding her form well. Jockey 2-2 on her as well, and she must have chances.
Arguably better grade than this at his best but his recent efforts have been lacking, and although undeniably well treated these days, he meets some bang in-form rivals here and looks to face an uphill struggle once more.
Not out of the first four in his last five starts, winning a couple of them in the process. Seems to find all ground and tracks come alike to him, needs to bounce back from a below-par effort last time but cannot be ruled out.
Nicely backed to score over slightly shorter here last time out, the addition of cheekpieces (retained here) seemingly doing the trick. 3lb rise of no concern, and only need repeat that win to see him on the premises today.
Seven wins fro his 21 starts here is not to be sniffed at, seems to reserve his best for here but does have ground to make up on Tin Hat on their latest running. Only a fool would discount him at what is a home fixture, but others make more appeal.
Three times a winner this summer, including one over C&D, and the addition of blinkers has seemingly transformed her. However, last couple of efforts now suggest the handicapper is catching up with her, so she needs a bit more.
Forecasts
Pink Flamingo (11/4), Spanish Star (9/2), Tin Hat (5/1), Alicia Darcy (11/2), Lightning Charlie (6/1), Enthaar (8/1), Pour La Victoire (11/1)
PINK FLAMINGO is holding her form well, she loves the track and has a jockey that gets on well with her on board today, so has a lot going for her and she can score again. Tin Hat looks likely to try and make all and can't be allowed too much rope on the front, or he'll be gone beyond recall. Enthaar has to be given consideration too, and old Pour La Victoire can never be ruled out at his favourite venue.
