The J P McManus-owned gelding showed plenty of fight to lead in the dying strides of the 11-runner contest, a race that has produced the second, Tritonix and the third, Grove Hill to subsequently win. The solid and consistent, Cosmic Horizon appears to be the clear and obvious danger, while Scortched Earth and Canary Row look capable of hitting the frame. Dancing Doll, second of 13 beaten 4½L over C&D in September off a 4lb higher mark can go well at a price.
