Winner over C&D at this meeting 12 months ago off a 43lb lower mark. Has made a marked improvement since winning on three separate occasions, latest of which coming at Fairyhouse in June.
Dual bumper winner, who got off the mark at the first time of asking on the Flat at Leopardstown last month. Beaten since at the Galway festival earlier this month but very much back in the mix here.
One from five on the Flat with the gelding getting off the mark on debut for trainer Ger Lyons at Navan a little over 12 months ago. Winner over hurdles for current connections and could be interesting on handicap debut.
Improving over hurdles the Rip Van Winkle gelding showed plenty of zip on the Flat last summer running for trainer-James Bethell. Well held at Leopardstown over 1m7f earlier this month but merits respect in this field.
