Wins in his turn, probably biting off more than he could chew in a Listed contest at Market Rasen last time and this is much easier. Placed on heavy ground in the past and in a winnable event,

Twice a winner this spring and after a middling effort at Market Rasen, put in a very solid run over C&D last time, travelling well. Looks likely to set the pace here, and could make all if handling the ground.

Beat a couple of much more fancied rivals to upset the applecart at Uttoxeter in June before an early fall at Southwell last time out. More unexposed than the other two, but deep ground will place demands on his stamina here.

A regular face around here and visits the winners enclosure occasionally, by no means running poorly this summer but the worry is the heavy ground, which has never been his preferred surface. Can't be ruled out at a home fixture, though.

Forecasts

Chef De Troupe (5/4), Nayati (9/4), Green Zone (5/2), Oskemen (10/1)

Verdict

This will take little winning, although all four have some sort of question mark against them. CHEF DE TROUPE has less to prove than the rest though, and might be able to make all if he can cope with the ground. Nayati blows a bit hot and cold but has chances if he puts his best foot forward. Oskeman clearly has ability too, although the form of his Uttoxeter win can be knocked, and this ground may not be ideal. Green Zone knows his way around Perth blindfold.
