Wins in his turn, probably biting off more than he could chew in a Listed contest at Market Rasen last time and this is much easier. Placed on heavy ground in the past and in a winnable event,
Twice a winner this spring and after a middling effort at Market Rasen, put in a very solid run over C&D last time, travelling well. Looks likely to set the pace here, and could make all if handling the ground.
Beat a couple of much more fancied rivals to upset the applecart at Uttoxeter in June before an early fall at Southwell last time out. More unexposed than the other two, but deep ground will place demands on his stamina here.
A regular face around here and visits the winners enclosure occasionally, by no means running poorly this summer but the worry is the heavy ground, which has never been his preferred surface. Can't be ruled out at a home fixture, though.
