Was only moderate on the Falt (rated just 53) and made a very low-key start to hurdling career here last month, sent off 100-1 and finished well beaten after showing little. No realistic chance here.
Huge gelding that took his time to find his feet but came good on the fourth time of asking in bumpers at Sedgefield in January. Not seen since but this not the most taxing start to his hurdling career, and no surprise if he was good enough.
Regressive on the Flat but on the plus side, her one win did come at Pontefract in soft ground, so stamina ought not be an issue. However, can really only be watched on hurdles debut today, although has place chances if taking to it.
Low-grade sprinter on the Flat in Ireland, overall record of no wins or places in fourteen starts and given conditions today, looks a very unlikely stayer. Fair to say there are more likely winners.
Useful on the Flat (rated 83), best form coming at a mile on quick ground, which raises questions about the suitability of conditions for her hurdling debut today. One to watch for the future as the ability is clearly there, though.
On the plus side, has plenty of hurdling experience, handles heavy ground and does come here after a good effort on the Flat, but is fully exposed and a record of 1 win in 23 starts tempers enthusiasm. Has to have a chance today all the same.
Forecasts
Never Be Enough (7/4), Sarvi (2/1), Beast Of Belstane (7/2), Misscarlett (6/1), Dandy Sue (16/1), Enemy Of The State (66/1)
On better ground the useful Flat performer Never Be Enough might have been interesting on his hurdles debut, but he's going to have to cope with heavy today and he's a potential non-stayer. Sarvi is no star but at least has some experience under her belt and should be thereabouts again, but BEAST OF BELSTANE, who, given his size, has needed time, has the potential to do well and is taken to score at the first time of asking over timber. Misscarlett will at least stay and could pick up a minor prize.
